Tutorial: Packaging a Pet

Part 1

This part is if you already have already created the pet and placed it on a lot, or if you would like to package a pet that was born in game. If you have just created the pet you would like to share in CAS, skip to Part 2.

Step 1 – There is a pet. Either or a dog or a cat, this works for both.

Step 2 – Have sim call the Pet Registry. Select Register Pet, choose the pet you would like to package and then give the breed a name.

Step 3 – Head back to CAS.

Part 2

Step 1 – Find your pet in the breed list. If you have just created the pet in CAS, you can save it as a breed, if you’ve registered it, the breed should already be available.

Step 2 – Click the little man in a box to package your pet.

Step 3 – Name your package something you will remember, give it a description and then save.

Step 4 – The package will be saved under your Sims2\PackagedSims folder. Hit OK.

Step 5 – Find your newly packaged pet and upload.

Viola, you are done. This is probably not the only way to do it, nor is it the quickest, it’s just how I do it cause SimPE seems to bork pets while extracting. Let me know if anything does not make sense!

And it's true, if you just extract them using simPe, they aren't right (they'll show up in bodyshop as freaky creatures that will haunt your nightmares).

This is a really simple method, yay! Here I was afraid I'd have to go through cartwheels in simPE XD
